The Glen Rock Panthers baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host Hawthorne Christian Defenders to 0 in the Panthers league win on Friday.
The Panthers now hold a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hawthorne for a NJIC - Colonial test on Monday, April 28. Glen Rock will play a Bears team coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ). The Bears record now stands at 6-5.
With the defeat, Hawthorne Christian drops to 5-6 on the year. The Defenders travel to Butler (Butler, NJ) to play the Bulldogs in a NJIC - Colonial test on Monday, April 28. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 5-7. Butler won 9-5 in their recent league test against Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ)
