The Lancaster Red Devils baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Hopewell Blue Devils to 0 in the Red Devils non-league win on Friday.
The Red Devils now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rappahannock for a Northern Neck test on Tuesday, April 29. Lancaster will face a Raiders team coming off a 12-0 league win over Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 10-2.
Next, the Blue Devils face the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) in a Central game, on Tuesday, April 29. Hopewell will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Royals enter the game with a 5-7 record after their 9-6 league loss to Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA).
