Connecticut High School Baseball - Immaculate nips Notre Dame Prep

The Immaculate Mustangs baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Notre Dame Prep Lancers to 2 in the Mustangs league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Weston for a Southwest test on Monday, April 28. Immaculate will play a Trojans team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 5-5.

With the defeat, Notre Dame Prep drops to 7-11 on the year. The Lancers travel to Masuk (Monroe, CT) to play the Panthers in a Southwest test on Monday, April 28. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 6-3. Masuk won 11-9 in their recent league test against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT)
