Connecticut High School Baseball - Newtown loses to Joel Barlow

In Friday's league bout, the Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT), by a tally of 10-1.

Next up, the Falcons encounter the Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT) in a Southwest bout, on Monday, April 28. Joel Barlow will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 13-1 league loss to Brookfield (Brookfield, CT).

The Nighthawks (3-5) will now prepare for their bout against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT). The Rebels enter the Southwest bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, New Fairfield was overwhelmed by Masuk (Monroe, CT), 11-9, in a league bout.
