The Lisbon Broncos (Lisbon, ND) baseball trounced the host Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), 19-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Broncos now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Enderlin for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 25. Lisbon will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 12-4 league loss to Oak Grove Lutheran (Fargo, ND). The Eagles record now stands at 1-8.
With the defeat, Maple River drops to 5-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN) to clash with the Buccaneers in a Gopher challenge on Thursday, May 1. The Buccaneers go into the challenge with a record of 1-7.
