Illinois High School Baseball - Mt. Pulaski defeats Springfield Southeast

In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Springfield Southeast Spartans.
The Hilltoppers (14-3) will now prepare for their game against Lanphier (Springfield, IL). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 0-13 record. In their last game, Lanphier was overwhelmed by Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 12-0, in a league game.
Next, the Spartans face the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) in a Central State Eight game, on Monday, April 28. Springfield Southeast will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Generals enter the game with a 3-10 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL).
