The North Michigan Christian Academy Comets baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Wolverine Wildcats to 2 in the Comets league win on Friday.

The Comets now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boyne Falls for a Northern Lakes test on Thursday, May 1. North Michigan Christian Academy will play a Loggers team coming off a 17-2 league loss to Mackinaw City (Mackinaw City, MI). The Loggers record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Wolverine drops to 1-4 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, MI) to play the Lancers in a Northern Lakes test on Wednesday, April 30. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 1-4. Ellsworth won 9-8 in their recent league test against Alanson (Alanson, MI)
