The Northwest Christian Crusaders (Phoenix, AZ) baseball trounced the host Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ), 18-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Crusaders now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they host San Tan Foothills for a 3A Metro challenge on Monday, April 28. Northwest Christian will clash with a Sabercats team coming off a 12-1 league loss to Payson (Payson, AZ). The Sabercats record now stands at 6-17.

With the defeat, Odyssey Institute drops to 7-10 on the year. The Minotaur travel to Parker (Parker, AZ) to clash with the Broncs in a 3A West challenge on Saturday, April 26. The Broncs go into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Parker lost 5-3 in their recent league challenge against Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ)
