The Park Hill South Panthers (Riverside, MO) baseball got by the visiting Truman Patriots (Independence, MO), 5-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellevue West for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 28. Park Hill South will clash with a Thunderbirds team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over North Platte (North Platte, NE). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 15-6.

With the defeat, Truman drops to 13-13 on the year. The Patriots travel to Fort Osage (Independence, MO) to clash with the Indians in a Class 6 District 7 challenge on Monday, April 28. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 8-15. Fort Osage lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Webb City (Webb City, MO)
