In Friday's non-league game, the host Waynesboro Indians baseball team scored a close 8-2 win over the Spring Grove Rockets.
The Indians (6-7) will now prepare for their game against Greencastle-Antrim (Greencastle, PA). The Blue Devils go into the Mid-Penn - Colonial game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Greencastle-Antrim was overwhelmed by Chambersburg (Chambersburg, PA), 9-7, in a non-league game.
Next, the Rockets play the Dallastown Wildcats (Dallastown, PA) in a YAIAA 1 game, on Monday, April 28. Spring Grove will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 10-6 record after their 6-4 league win over Red Lion (Red Lion, PA).
