The crowd at Friday's league battle between the St. Mary Gaels (Rutherford, NJ) and the visiting Weehawken Indians (Weehawken, NJ), saw St. Mary's baseball team beat Weehawken by a margin of 13-0.
The Gaels (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, DePaul Catholic defeated Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ), 15-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Indians face the Wallington Panthers (Wallington, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 26. Weehawken will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 17-0 non-league win over Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (Paterson, NJ).
