Utah High School Volleyball - Alta over Payson

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT) and the visiting Payson Lions (Payson, UT), observed Alta's volleyball team top Payson by a count of 2-0.

The Hawks (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 23-6 record. In their last contest, Virgin Valley notched a victory over Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lions battle the Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 26. Payson will attempt to move on its 16-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 23-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Mater Academy East Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV).
