Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA), 10-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Point Loma upgrades its record to 14-3 on the year. The Pointers host Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league game on Monday, April 28. The Lancers enter the game with a record of 4-4. Carlsbad won 12-7 in their recent non-league game against Westview (San Diego, CA)
The Chieftains now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Scripps Ranch for a game on Tuesday, April 29.
