Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA), 21-3 in a league battle.

With the victory, Clairemont advances its record to 8-5 on the season. The Chieftains host Preuss UCSD (La Jolla, CA) to encounter the Tritons in a Eastern battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Tritons come into the battle with a record of 6-2.

The Hornets now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Otay Ranch for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 26. Lincoln will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.
