The Wheaton Knights triumphed over the host Kennedy Cavaliers lacrosse team by a tally of 11-2 in Friday's league game.
Next up, the Knights play the Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD) in a Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A game, on Tuesday, April 29. Wheaton will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the game with a 1-9 record after their 17-0 league loss to Einstein (Kensington, MD).
The Cavaliers (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Warriors come into the Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A game with a 11-0 record. In their last game, Sherwood notched a victory over Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD), 16-7, in a league game.
