The Mahwah Thunderbirds lacrosse team (Mahwah, NJ), was tipped 11-10 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY)
With the victory, Suffern advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Mounties host White Plains (White Plains, NY) to encounter the Tigers in a Conference I-B battle on Monday, April 28. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 3-4.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph Regional for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 29. Mahwah will encounter a Green Knights team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Northern Highlands (Allendale, NJ). The Green Knights record now stands at 2-8.
