Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the St. Bernard/Wheeler Saints (Uncasville, CT) and the visiting Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI), witnessed St. Bernard/Wheeler's lacrosse squad gain a win over Westerly by a count of 12-9.

The Saints (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT). The Bobcats enter the Eastern Connecticut - Small contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Bacon Academy nipped Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT), 11-7, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) in a Division 2 contest, on Tuesday, April 29. Westerly will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 14-8 non-league loss to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).
