The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Cabrillo Conquistadores (Lompoc, CA) and the visiting Atascadero Greyhounds (Atascadero, CA), observed Cabrillo's softball team get by Atascadero by a tally of 8-7.

The Conquistadores (5-12) will now prepare for their bout against Lompoc (Lompoc, CA). The Braves go into the CCAA - Mountain bout with a 13-10 record. In their last bout, Lompoc tipped Oxnard (Oxnard, CA), 5-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Paso Robles Bearcats (Paso Robles, CA) in a CCAA - Sunset bout, on Tuesday, April 29. Atascadero will attempt to advance on its 5-13 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA).
