New York High School Softball - Metropolitan bounces Beach Channel

The Metropolitan softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Beach Channel Dolphins to 4 in the non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Metropolitan improves its record to 7-6 on the year. The host Edison (Queens, NY) to face the in a non-league contest on Monday, April 28. The enter the contest with a record of 2-8. Edison won 23-7 in their recent league contest against Queens Teaching (Bellerose, NY)
The Dolphins now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Townsend Harris for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 29. Beach Channel will face a Hawks squad coming off a 26-0 league win over Van Buren (Queens Village, NY). The Hawks record now stands at 6-3.
