California High School Softball - Rio Hondo Prep bounces Bishop Conaty-Loretto

April 25, 2025: Arcadia, CA 91066

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Rio Hondo Prep Kares (Arcadia, CA) and the visiting Bishop Conaty-Loretto Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), observed Rio Hondo Prep's softball team get by Bishop Conaty-Loretto by a tally of 8-3.

The Kares (12-4) will now prepare for their bout against La Quinta (Westminster, CA). The Aztecs go into the non-league bout with a 6-10 record. In their last bout, La Quinta was routed by Orange (Orange, CA), 13-7, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA) in a Camino Real bout, on Monday, April 28. Bishop Conaty-Loretto will attempt to advance on its 11-9 season record. The Stars go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 14-1 league loss to St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA).
