In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Cleveland Clippers softball team scored a nice 11-3 win over the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms.
The Clippers (9-2) will now prepare for their match against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva was routed by Hayfield (Hayfield, MN), 18-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Awesome Blossoms battle the Madelia Blackhawks (Madelia, MN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 26. Blooming Prairie will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Blackhawks come into the match with a 3-6 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN).
