The Chopticon Braves softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Lackey Chargers to 1 in the Braves league win on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntingtown for a Southern Maryland battle on Wednesday, April 30. Chopticon will encounter a Hurricanes team coming off a 5-1 league win over Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Hurricanes record now stands at 12-2.

With the loss, Lackey moves to 4-8 on the season. The Chargers travel to Westlake (Waldorf, MD) to encounter the Wolverines in a Southern Maryland battle on Monday, April 28. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 0-10. Westlake lost 21-0 in their recent league battle against Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD)
