The Nogales Nobles softball squad (La Puente, CA), was routed 19-2 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Corona Panthers (Corona, CA)

With the triumph, Corona improves its record to 12-10 on the year. The Panthers travel to Santiago (Corona, CA) to face the Sharks in a Big VIII contest on Tuesday, April 29. The Sharks enter the contest with a record of 8-14. Santiago lost 7-1 in their recent league contest against Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA)

The Nobles now hold a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Garey for a Montview contest on Tuesday, April 29. Nogales will face a Vikings squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Duarte (Duarte, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-12.
