In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Dillon Christian Warriors softball team scored a tight 9-7 win over the Lake View Wild Gators.
The Warriors (13-5) will now prepare for their match against Carolina Academy (Lake City, SC). The Bobcats come into the non-league match with a 12-5 record. In their last match, Carolina Academy nipped Lake City (Lake City, SC), 18-7, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Wild Gators battle the Hannah-Pamplico Raiders (Pamplico, SC) in a A Region 6 match, on Tuesday, April 29. Lake View will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record.
