In Friday's non-league match, the host Notre Dame Academy Rebels softball team scored a tight 14-8 win over the Douglas Tigers.
The Rebels (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 5-2 record.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Bay Path RVT Minutemen (Charlton, MA) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 28. Douglas will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Minutemen come into the match with a 6-3 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Oxford (Oxford, MA).
