The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Gayville-Volin Raiders (Gayville, SD) and the visiting Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD), observed Gayville-Volin's softball team get by Lennox by a tally of 8-1.
The Raiders (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers go into the non-league bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Sioux Falls Christian was routed by Vermillion (Vermillion, SD), 7-4, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Orioles clash with the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) in a Class A bout, on Monday, April 28. Lennox will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Quarriers go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 5-3 league loss to Madison (Madison, SD).
