The Greens Farms Academy Dragons triumphed over the visiting Greenwich Country Day Tigers softball squad by a count of 18-0 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Dragons play the Cheshire Academy Cats (Cheshire, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Greens Farms Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cats enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Kingswood Oxford (West Hartford, CT).
The Tigers (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamden Hall Country Day (Hamden, CT). The Hornets enter the challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Hamden Hall Country Day overcame Canterbury School (New Milford, CT), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
