California High School Softball - Gustine bested by Ripon

The Ripon Indians triumphed over the host Gustine Reds softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) in a Trans Valley League challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Ripon will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Huskies enter the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 15-9 non-league win over Gregori (Modesto, CA).

The Reds (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Le Grand (Le Grand, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Southern Athletic League challenge with a 15-6 record. In their last challenge, Le Grand overcame Mountain House (Mountain House, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
