In Friday's league match, the host Hermon Hawks softball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Lawrence Bulldogs.

The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME). The Wildcats come into the Class B North match with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Presque Isle defeated Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME), 15-11, in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Cony for a Class B North game on Monday, April 28. Lawrence will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Erskine Academy (South China, ME). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
