The West Springfield Terriers (West Springfield, MA) softball nipped the host Holyoke Purple Knights (Holyoke, MA), 5-4 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Terriers now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Agawam for a non-league outing on Monday, April 28. West Springfield will encounter a Brownies team coming off a 13-7 non-league loss to East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA). The Brownies record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Holyoke moves to 3-6 on the season. The Purple knights travel to Ware (Ware, MA) to encounter the Indians in a PVIAC - Bi County outing on Monday, April 28. The Indians come into the outing with a record of 4-2.
