The Waukesha West Wolverines softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Homestead Highlanders to 3 in the Wolverines non-league win on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kettle Moraine for a Classic Eight battle on Monday, April 28. Waukesha West will confront a Lasers team coming off a 7-3 league win over Mukwonago (Mukwonago, WI). The Lasers record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, Homestead moves to 1-9 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Grafton (Grafton, WI) to confront the Black Hawks in a North Shore battle on Monday, April 28. The Black Hawks come into the battle with a record of 5-6. Grafton lost 12-4 in their recent league battle against Port Washington (Port Washington, WI)
