The Jackson Ironman/Ironladies triumphed over the host New Hartford Spartans softball squad by a count of 7-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Ironman/Ironladies meet the Aynor Blue Jackets (Aynor, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 25. Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Blue Jackets enter the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 8-2 non-league win over West Florence (Florence, SC).

The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Holland Patent (Holland Patent, NY). The Golden Knights enter the Section 3 Tri-Valley challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Holland Patent was routed by Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY), 20-1, in a league challenge.
