The J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado triumphed over the visiting Reading Red KNights softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Tornado meet the Manheim Township Blue Streaks (Lancaster, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 1 challenge, on Monday, April 28. J.P. McCaskey will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Blue Streaks enter the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, PA).
The Red KNights (3-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Exeter Township (Reading, PA). The Eagles enter the Berks County 1 challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Exeter Township overcame Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA), 9-7, in a non-league challenge.
