Connecticut High School Softball - Kolbe-Cathedral drops to New Milford

New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT), 31-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, New Milford improves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Green Wave host Miss Hall's (Pittsfield, MA) to face the in a non-league game on Saturday, April 26. The enter the game with a record of 1-1. Miss Hall's lost 15-6 in their recent non-league game against Stoneleigh-Burnham (Greenfield, MA)

The Cougars now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Pomperaug for a Southwest - Colonial game on Monday, April 28. Kolbe-Cathedral will face a Panthers squad coming off a 11-10 league loss to Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 3-4.
