In Friday's non-league match, the host Rochelle Hubs softball team scored a nice 15-0 win over the Lutheran Crusaders.

The Hubs (5-13) will now prepare for their match against Ottawa (Ottawa, IL). The Pirates come into the Interstate Eight match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Ottawa was routed by Dunlap (Dunlap, IL), 1-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Crusaders confront the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) in a Big Northern match, on Monday, April 28. Lutheran will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 13-3 record after their 8-2 league win over Byron (Byron, IL).
