California High School Softball - Salinas gets by Vacaville

April 25, 2025: Vacaville, CA 95688

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA) and the host Vacaville Bulldogs (Vacaville, CA), observed Salinas's softball team get by Vacaville by a tally of 3-2.

The Cowboys (11-4) will now prepare for their bout against Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA). The Knights go into the non-league bout with a 18-4 record. In their last bout, Notre Dame (SO) tipped Merced (Merced, CA), 13-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 28. Vacaville will attempt to advance on its 14-7 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 4-3 league loss to Folsom (Folsom, CA).
