In Saturday's non-league bout, the Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH), by a tally of 8-2.

Next up, the Golden Eagles encounter the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves (Columbus, OH) in a Ohio Capital - Capital bout, on Monday, April 27. Big Walnut will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Wolves enter the bout with a 8-5 record after their 14-13 non-league win over Marion Harding (Marion, OH).

The Scotties (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Morgan (McConnelsville, OH). The Raiders enter the Muskingum Valley bout with a 5-10 record. In their last bout, Morgan was overwhelmed by Meadowbrook (Byesville, OH), 5-2, in a league bout.
