Nebraska High School Baseball - Standing Bear wallops Westview

April 25, 2026: Omaha, NE

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Standing Bear Grizzlies (Lincoln, NE) and the host Westview Wolverines (Omaha, NE), saw Standing Bear's baseball team gain a win over Westview by a tally of 11-1.

The Grizzlies (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 23-2 record. In their last battle, Omaha Westside prevailed over Millard South (Omaha, NE), 11-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wolverines face the Millard North Mustangs (Omaha, NE) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 27. Westview will attempt to upgrade on its 16-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 19-5 record after their 13-0 non-league win over Omaha North (Omaha, NE).
