In Saturday's non-league match, the host Armada Tigers softball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Goodrich Martians.
The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Utica Ford was routed by Dakota (Macomb, MI), 9-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Martians battle the Flushing Raiders (Flushing, MI) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 28. Goodrich will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Raiders go into the match with a 0-9 record after their 15-0 league loss to Fenton (Fenton, MI).
