Ohio High School Softball - Mapleton bounces Olmsted Falls

The Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH) softball routed the host Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH), 11-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Mounties now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midview for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 25. Mapleton will encounter a Middies team coming off a 5-3 league win over North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH). The Middies record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Olmsted Falls moves to 5-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH) to encounter the Shoremen in a Southwestern outing on Monday, April 27. The Shoremen come into the outing with a record of 5-9. Avon Lake lost 10-8 in their recent league outing against Elyria (Elyria, OH)
