The North Newton Spartans softball team (Morocco, IN), was routed 13-8 in Monday's non-league test with the host Benton Central Bison (Oxford, IN)
Coming up next, the Bison encounter the Twin Lakes Indians (Monticello, IN) in a Hoosier test, on Tuesday, April 27. Benton Central will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Harrison (West Lafayette, IN).
The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their test against North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN). The Bluejays come into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, North Judson-San Pierre was routed by LaVille (Lakeville, IN), 4-2, in a league test.
