The Bad Axe Hatchets baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Reese Rockets to 0 in the Hatchets league victory on Tuesday.
The Hatchets (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Vassar (Vassar, MI). The Vulcans go into the Greater Thumb - West match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Vassar was overwhelmed by Marlette (Marlette, MI), 5-1, in a non-league match.
The Rockets (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Garber (Essexville, MI). The Dukes go into the Tri-Valley - 8 match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Garber edged Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI), 4-1, in a league match.
