Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) and the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL), witnessed Morton's baseball team gain a win over Lincoln by a score of 7-4.
The Potters (14-4) will now prepare for their match against Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Redbirds go into the Mid-Illini match with a 14-3 record. In their last match, Metamora edged Morton (Morton, IL), 1-0, in a league match.
The Railsplitters (10-7) will now prepare for their match against Metamora (Metamora, IL). The Redbirds go into the non-league match with a 14-4 record.
