The Whitman Vikings baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Northwood Gladiators to 0 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Blair (Silver Spring, MD). The Blazers go into the non-league match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Blair was overwhelmed by Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD), 4-1, in a non-league match.
The Gladiators (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Colonels go into the non-league match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Magruder ran past Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD), 4-0, in a non-league match.
