The St. Ignatius Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Medina Battling Bees to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 27. St. Ignatius will meet a Rough Riders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Berkshire (Burton, OH). The Rough Riders record now stands at 1-7.
The Battling Bees (5-7) will now prepare for their game against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, St. Vincent-St. Mary gained a win over Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH), 3-0, in a non-league game.
