In Tuesday's non-league test, the host Shelton Gaels lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Danbury Hatters.
The Gaels now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Haven for a Southern Connecticut test on Thursday, April 28. Shelton will face a Indians squad coming off a 16-5 league loss to Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT). The Indians record now stands at 2-5.
In their next game, the Hatters face the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County-West test, on Thursday, April 28. Danbury will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Black Knights come into the test with a 4-4 record after their 15-4 league loss to Greenwich (Greenwich, CT).
