The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) and the host Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN), saw East Central's softball squad achieve victory over Rushville by a count of 17-1.

The Trojans now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrison for a non-league match on Thursday, April 28.

With the loss, Rushville falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Connersville (Connersville, IN) to face the Spartans in a contest on Wednesday, April 27. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 5-2. Connersville won 17-3 in their recent league contest against Greensburg (Greensburg, IN)
