Illinois High School Lacrosse - Deerfield drops to Maine South

In Tuesday's league test, the host Maine South Hawks lacrosse squad scored a good 16-4 victory over the Deerfield Warriors.
The Hawks now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Glenbrook North for a Central Suburban test on Thursday, April 28. Maine South will face a Spartans squad coming off a 9-8 league win over Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 7-3.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) in a Central Suburban test, on Friday, April 29. Deerfield will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 4-9 record after their 20-3 league loss to New Trier (Winnetka, IL).
