The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the McKenzie Rebels (McKenzie, TN) and the host Gibson County Pioneers (Dyer, TN), saw McKenzie's soccer squad get by Gibson County by a margin of 2-1.
The Rebels now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Peabody for a non-league test on Thursday, April 28. McKenzie will encounter a Golden Tide squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Sacred Heart of Jesus (Jackson, TN). The Golden Tide record now stands at 2-8.
