Gig Harbor Tides (Gig Harbor, WA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting River Ridge Hawks (Lacey, WA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tides confront the Yelm Tornados (Yelm, WA) in a 3A South Sound challenge, on Thursday, April 28. Gig Harbor will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Tornados enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, WA).
The Hawks now have a 0-2 record.
